DA9000 C24 wheel stiffness question.
I have been looking at getting wheels, and one of the wheels I am looking at are the DA9000 C24's. I was reading a review on another site and some posters were saying that the C24's were not as stiff as say the Rolf Elan's. Just wanted to see if there was anyone here who could comment.

The C24 rear wheel has 20 cx-ray sized spokes on a 380 gram rim. That should speak for itself. For more powerful riders, Shimano has the C35 - a heavier rim, more drive side trailing spokes, and the spokes are thicker.

Yeah if you are heavy or powerful enough to flex these, you probably shouldn't be riding an 18/20 spoked wheelset in the first place.

Keep in mind what heavy means in bike speak...it's not the same as American Society speak. Heavy is essentially 180 or over, but I honestly start changing recommendations when a rider starts hitting 165-170. Sorry....it's like women's clothing sizes in fashion stores. Unrealistic but fashionable.

Rolf doesn't exactly have stiffness in the bag either.

I've read a bunch of reviews on these wheels and in general they are very positive with plenty of light/stiff comments. Check out the reviews on sites like wiggle, etc.
