The only thing I wasn't a fan of is that they're tubular and no one can use them in New Mexico because of goatheads,,I was just trying to save the guy some money.Theyre not boat anchors, they're light and would be of good use to someone,,and I meant anyone truly interested,,,not sarcasm.

As for some of you, I think you have lost your minds and you need to go outside and ride more... lol. the sun is out and winter is over... just a heads up.

I think you're taking a silly post and blowing it way out of proportion.

Because they offer greater speed benefits than aero wheels (according to those time trial tests), I figured they weren't allowed or many people doing road races and crits would get them. Or maybe in a pack the wheels have a better advantage than the helmet, but not certainly worth the cost.

they're legal, but the disadvantages outweigh the advantages in a mass start race, specifically, 1) over heating, 2) reduced hearing of what's around you, and 3) looking like a total dork.

You are seeing, however, a new class of helmets designed for use in mass start racing that are more aero than a typical road helmet, but also have better cooling than a typical tt helmet.

Trust me when I say this, "you do not want to use this wheelset".

Tubular tires are a pain in the ass for most people.

Start the timer before people come in defending using tubulars in rec rides.

Do you think I posted this simply to help the OP?
