SRAM Red Bar Tape - has anyone tried it?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I've found I prefer their supercork tape.

haven't used the red tape, but the supercork is nice.

That tape looks black to me, not red.

+1 been riding their Supercork since August on my Shimano equipped bike and nothings asploded so far . I like this tape a little better than Cinelli cork which I used for years - cheaper, is more forgiving if you mess up, and seems to last longer. Has cool reflective End plugs. Doesn't exactly answer your question, but if the Red is their top offering I'm sure it's decent stuff.

It's grippy but it's not sticky.
