Help me choose
 

I am new to the forum and new to road biking.

I want to buy my first road bike and I am trying to decide between two, I have been looking for awhile and finally narrowed them down. I will mostly ride the bike on the local trails here in Arkansas and maybe ride it the couple of miles to class.

I have always had Specialized, so I am partial to the brand. But here are the bikes I'm looking at:

The Trek Madone 2.1 and the Specialized Comp Smartweld. They price is similar in both. I think the Specialized has a better frame, but the Madone has the 105s where the Specialized as the Tiagras.

Please give me your guys opinions.
