3M Clear Bra for Road Bikes?
My bike shop is finishing up my 2014 TREK Madone build. I've heard some riders on this forum talking about a 3M clear bra made for road bikes. Has anyone put anything like this on their frame? All I can find on Amazon is a Lizard Skin clear downtube protector film. I'd like to apply the 3M clear bra to the entire frame if possible...similar to what many of us have on our cars. Please let me know if you're aware of any retailers that sell something like this. Thanks!

Suspect the 3M "bra" is 3M packing tape, but what do I know.
I bought my Novarra bike on the theory that since it was relatively cheap at $879 it wouldn't pain me to see it get scratched up by bike racks. Well, not so much. It's just so.... shiny and new. So I did a partial 3M bra, and used clear packing tape on the right side of the frame tubes and fork where they contact the racks. Works fine so far.

They are talking about this stuff. You have to fit it yourself as they don't make a kit for bikes that I have seen. You can get smaller pieces of it on Ebay.

Okay-gotcha. I didn't want to cover the entire thing but I did purchase a Lizard Skins clear down tube protector. Thanks for all the input. I should also say I ended up going with the Domane 5.2 instead of the Madone 4.3. Picking up next Monday and very excited. I'll post some pics next week.[h=1][/h]

You can wrap your entire bike + wheels + tires for about $120 if you use venture shield:
VentureShield? paint protection film
