Does anyone find the Bontrager Node 1.1 sluggish?

tigat 05-06-14 11:56 AM

Nope: mine shows the data at the very same rate that I am spinnining, rolling, breathing, etc.

Come to think of it ... maybe you're right.

Tigat, my Node 1.1 reads well, after it syncs with the sensors, but it has a delay. It takes too long to read any changes in speed and cadence. It's hard to find all the features it possesses without spending $300.00, but you seem to pay for it when the cadence drops off the radar in the middle of the ride.

Mine would periodically lose contact with the sensors, one day the mileage went to 100 and had me at a 36 mph average for 110 miles when I had ridden 20. Tossed it and got a Garmin and am now a happy camper.

I had mine for almost 2 year with not problems until the S1 and S2 buttons started to stick. Bontrager has a 2 year warranty so I got a free replacement.

I guess the Garmin is inevitable.

Mine seems to take about 10 seconds to recognize that I have stopped, my Cateye took maybe 1-2 seconds. I've also had a couple of rides where it showed my max speed was around 136 MPH. The individual ride mileage is accurate but overall mileage is off by about 2000 miles.
