Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

They look very nice. Maybe Bdop will drop in, he knows the bike business and he's in Taiwan.

I'd want to know more about the manufacture. Based on the fact that they are the old style v-type and not the new U-type rims, I'd get chinese clinchers for half the price.

Here's the Japanese website for AMAIN T.

AMAIN T.

Scroll down to WT40/WT50 (the closest one to what the OP posted).

Spokes are DT Swiss with White Industry H2 hubs.

Looks well built from the components IMO.

Calling Mr. @Bob Dopolina, please chime in.

Those are rims from Taiwan. I know the factory making them.

They have very good quality and use HTg materials. The paint and assembly factories are also pretty good.

Hubs and spokes are what they are.

Most likely a decent wheelset.

Thanks Bob for your input.

Looks like a viable wheel replacement in the future.
