Waved at another cyclist and he didn't wave back...

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

While I was waving, I realized that my gloves are getting worn out. Let's hear some suggestions for warm weather gloves under $50, preferably black or black/white.

Don't nip a nascent waving thread in the bud; terrible thing to do.

Yeah, it's almost summer. Maybe you should be asking about warm weather gloves instead of...oh wait.

Have you ever seen the moving "Break Away". Next time someone doesn't wave, remember what can be done with a frame pump.........

No gloves. They are free. And they don't restrict movement while waving.

Counterpoint: what if I wave too vigorously, lose my balance, and fall off the bike? I feel like gloves could prevent my hands from road rash.

When that happens I turn around, drop them then go back the way I was going initially. That'll show them.

My favorites -- Specialized SL Comp gloves. Not too much padding, $30, available in black and black/white, completely colorfast unlike a lot of gloves.

Believe it or not on the motocycle I honk the horn. They do take notice of that and some even say hello, others... not so much.

See, if you didn't wave, you wouldn't have noticed the sad state
of your gloves, and you wouldn't have to spend any money.
How much is that wave going to cost you?
I don't know, but I use BG Gel gloves, so that's a $30.00 wave.
Look at the Specialized Outlet section on their site:

Specialized Bicycle Components

Regular price:

Go Michael Jackson and only wear one glove. They'll last you twice as long.

Hmm. This sounds too difficult. Do you know of any clipless gloves I could use that would break this habit?

Velcro handlebar tape, and matching Velcro palmed gloves.
