Tire Logo Upside Down
I decided to try these tires from Western Bike Works, which are custom from Vredestein for them, but the logo is upside down.
Take a look: Vredestein Gran Fondo TriComp at WesternBikeworks Doesn't seem to make any sense, unless you're supposed to look at the logo for tire pressure, etc., from above. I've never seen a tire with a logo in this direction. Any comments? S |

That is so you can see what kind of tire it is when it is properly set up for a Hot R Not photo with the valves at 6 o'clock.

That's like every other tire I've ever seen.

It's never a good idea to overgeneralize. http://cdn.mccraw.co.uk/wp-content/u...penCorsaCX.jpg |
Exactly.
Also, the tire pressure is: Min-115 and Max-175!!! Crazy. They are 25c, BTW. Taking them out today. Also, did a drive chain cleaning (which I hate ;) ) and installed Kool-Stop Salmons, so it was quite the maintenance day. Riding at Flatwoods in about an hour and I'll follow-up with a ride report on the tires. Last set were Kenda Kaliente Pro 23's, so I'm eager to see how 25's change the ride. S |
At some stage during the revolution, the logo will be the right way up. The same as the other tyres shown in this thread will show the logos upside down at some point in the revolution.
Anyway, I've always maintained that the way we view the world as a globe is a matter of perspective. Really, it should have the Southern Hemisphere on top. Imagine that! All you lot then would be Down Under... |

No, it is always full. ALWAYS. Half with water, and half air. |

If we can put a man on the moon, we should be able to make tires that always have the loge the right way up. ... jeesh :50:
