So, what is it? Steel? Aluminum? Carbon? Or other (please elaborate in a reply - Ti can go into this category)?
EDIT: I'm talking about frame materials. Fork, dropouts, etc. don't count (ie aluminum frame with carbon fork and steel dropouts = aluminum bike).

My club ride bike is Reynolds steel 631, and my commuter Reynolds 531, both Bianchi, Vigorelly and Volpe respectively. Although I have to admit I'm dying to buy me the ORBEA ORCA (CF), after I test rode it at the last show last Sunday I just fell in love.

2004 Leftover Lemond Tourmalet...6066 Aluminum and I love the ride, not as bone jarring as I would have thought...could be the carbon fork. Nonetheless I love the ride

I voted carbon, but I also have an older steel bike that still has a special place in my heart.

An all steel road bike, the Cannondale with CF post, fork, etc, and an aluminum mt bike. I really like the rigidity of aluminum, but truth be told price was the driver in material choice.

An aluminum trek with carbon fork. And an all steel bike, which rides like a dream, but I've only gotten about 7 miles on it so far, so I'm kinda bitter. Damn weather...
