Cleat compatibility help
 

Forgive my ignorance, I'm new to cycling and unsure if I just made a mistake. I bought a bike online that has look keo blades pedals. I wanted to go ahead and order shoes and cleats so they'd be here by the time I got the bike. I ordered these:

Now I see there is another cleat from look called the delta cleat. I'm worried now that I ordered the wrong thing. Did I?

The ones you ordered will work with your pedals.

The one thing to know with cleats is the float, they usually come in different colors and the float can vary. I think The grey cleat is 4.5 degrees and the red one is 9 but I could be off.

Whew...that's a relief.

I did did read up on the float differences and figured that more float would be better for me given my lack of experience. Hope I got that right too!

The Delta cleats are for older Look pedals. Shimano licensed the Look design and used it for a while before they transitioned to their now-standard SPD-SL.

Lots of people still run the older Look and Shimano pedals so they still sell the Delta cleats.
