Does the Giro Atmos come with a visor?

I'm comparing <280gram road helmets... the Specialized Decibel (their most expensive model) comes with a color-matched clip on visor, not shown:

Does the Giro Atmos have a visor option? I haven't seen mention of a visor in any reviews of the 2004 model, and the Giro website doesn't say.

Are there any other "high end" road helmets that come with visors?

no

The Giro Pneumo comes with a visor, and they're now cheap compared to what they cost when they first came out. However, I have both, and as a road helmet the Atmos is, IMO, superior. The front pads don't collect loads of sweat like the Pneumo (which rains it down on you later) and there's less wind noise.

I wouldn't want a peak on a road helmet anyway - it obscures about half my field of view when I'm on the drops.

No...thank goodness. :D

Yeah since people who wear the giro atmos are too elite to need a visor and it is highly unfashionable, it doesn't include one.

amen to that. I was previously riding with my old mtb helmet (with the visor), and one day I got so fed up with not being able to see where I was going that I ripped the visor off and threw it in a passing trashcan. The atmos is very comfy and cool, and has no provisions for a visor. If you feel that you need something along those lines, you could easily put a cycling cap under the helmet, and use the brim of the cap for the same functionality.

You can get a Giro helmet with a visor for $45.00

I know lance 2 years ago requested an atmos with a custom visor for training. I just bought a giro E2 that has a pretty nifty color matched visor (I know, I'm very proud..). It's more of a mtb helmet but when u take off the visor, the front looks more like a road helmet.
Since when did the pneumo come with the visor? I received one last year as a gift and there was no visor...
