Crumpton Type 5

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Crumpton Type 5

It's almost been a year since I ordered my Type 5. Nick sent me some pictures of my frame I'll post proper pictures when I receive it. He told me the photo booth lighting killed color but he assured me color is same as BMW. The graphics are raw carbon that where masked out. The anticipation is killing me. The build is identical to my SL.

have you seriously been waiting a year for a frame. Is that the normal standard for a Crumpton. Thats insane.

Since i put my deposit my SL took 7 months. He started manufacturing all tubes in house. He's pretty upfront about it. I believe he only makes 50 ish frames a year.

One of the nicest looking Crumpton's I have seen: I would easily wait a year for that.
