6 responses and no one saying Breaking Away yet? I'm a little surprised.

I haven't seen it yet, but plan to see Rising From Ashes soon.

Pee Wee's Big Adventure...for the big bike chase scene near the end.

Can anyone comment on A Ride with George? It's been on my watch list for a while, but I havn't gotten around to it yet.

BMX Bandits starring a very young Nicole Kidman. You're not going to find bicycles going down waterslides anywhere else.

I think it was pretty good for what it was, a mindless action movie. Michael Shannon gives his usual underrated brilliant performance

Definitely watch The Flying Scottsman. Cycling aside, I thought it was a good movie.

I liked it, but I like George so consider the bias.

I thought Premium Rush was lame.

Bicycle Dreams is a documentary about RAAM, and IMO it is simply captivating and gut wrenching! Best bike movie I know of.

Key Exchange has some cycling in it, but it's not the main focus of the movie. Some nudity. Daniel Stern of Breaking Away and Home Alone fame is in it.

The Bicycle Thieves (AKA "Ladri di biciclette" ) doesn't have all that much cycling in it; however, the title is right and it is a classic movie.

I can't believe no one has mentioned The Hard Road yet. Decent flick.

Chasing Legends
Eddy Merckx - The Greatest Show on Earth (1974 Giro)
The official History of the Tour de France narrated by Sean Kelly

i found breaking away on amazon prime last night. i'm an old guy so it was fun to sit and watch a classic after seeing a TT guy break away from the group and stay there a few hours earlier.
