Fair price for a 1999 Bianchi Mega Pro?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hello all. Going to go look at a Bianchi today and need to know a fair price to offer the guy. Here is the bike.

What do you think? Thanks!

The seller wants the buyer to make an offer.

$300ish would start the conversation. If it was the XL which was Ti, then that would drive up the price considerably, but to me it's old Alum w/ ugly welds
$500-600 is a new bike and updated

The welds are fine, that's the way alu bikes were in the 90's except for maybe Cannondale. If the seller will take $300 let me know and I'll make the drive for it haha

They make my eyes hurt too. The ones on the bottom bracket are painful to look at.

Even Cannondale's first Aluminum bike from the early 80s had stellar welds. Bianchi should be ashamed for selling such a bike...

If my chicken crapped welds that looked like that I would either butcher it or take it to the Vet hehe :-).

$400 would be a fair price. I would probably offer $300 and see what they say.
