Good All-Around Wheelset Upgrade $350-$500

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Well for the cash Dbop DIY builds for $239 is the steal. I bought a set and built them and they are fabulous wheels. I guess if you were my in neighbor you could buy a set and I would be glad to build them for a small fee. This means all you need to is find someone to build you the set.

They go on sale pretty frequently. They are good enough to pay full-price for, but when they go under $200.... best deal in wheelsets I've ever seen.

The Corsa Lites come in under 1600 grams for the pair. My two sets weighed 660F/880R 680F/890R.

I weigh 200+, race, and ride these recreationally pretty hard.
I've had nothing but trouble with mine - 6'00" 160 lbs and out of true constantly....

Flo 30. I built mine up with 24 spoke front and 32 spokes rear for added durability and they have been incredible for the 400+ miles I have on them.

Just bought a Focus Cayo 3.0 CF bike that came with Fulcrum WH-CEX 7.0 wheels. they roll great but there is weight on this bike and my 2 cents is that it is form the wheels, i cannot find ANYTHING on them either. watching this thread for info. found some ultegra wheels from merlin for $330 shipped.

I had a set of these (Vuelta Corsa Superlites). Solid wheels, never out of true and I rode them pretty hard. I sold them to a friend who still rides them a few days a week. I would buy again.

I only know about this company because they are in my town and I have a few buddies who have them.
I do not personally use them as I want Campy wheels but this was my next choice. This particular one is in your price range and they are pretty nice.

I have an older set of Comps from when they used the Aerohead OC rim; Race hubs, black spokes, alloy nipples. I like 'em a lot; they're blue!
