Weirdest cyclists you have seen?
Whats the weirdest cyclists you guys have seen before?
I saw this 6'3" Jamaican dude in a full tux with a "Jack Bauer bag", with dreadlocks down to his ass. Riding a fast road bike at like 25mph in 95 degree heat.
The other day I saw this kid no more than 18yo, riding fast, zipping down the lane completely backwards and doing pretty good at it.
Also seen the occasional tall unicycle, and some dude riding a bike like 8 feet up in the air with a loud as bell too lol. Not this bike but similar to this height

The weirdest I saw was a guy riding without a helmet, listening to his ear buds and smoking a cigarette. I really didn't notice, but he probably had a can of Bud in his water bottle cage.

There is a guy in my neighborhood that rides an older mountain bike, several sizes too small, he wears boots, full leathers and a full face motorcycle helmet. I have come to the conclusion that he has had this bike since he was ten, he is 35 now and lives with his mom. The boots and helmet are for safety and the leathers to impress the girls...

A guy bikes around here, does about 60 miles a day or more any day that's not raining hard or snowing. Retired, made a good piece of money selling out the company he started and retired in his 50's. Now he rides his bike all day. I am consumed with jealousy.
In summer he wears nothing but flip flop type leather sandals and bike shorts, sometimes bright orange ones his mom gave him. He's a health nut and brags about his diet, apparently skin cancer is no concern to him though. He's caucasian but his skin is the color of an old catchers mitt. deep brown. He's got all sorts of gadgets taped and tie wrapped to his bike front and back, lights, blinkies, speedo / odo and other stuff I have no idea what it does. His bars hardly have any room left on them. And his bars, he's got bar ends, aero bars and some bar extensions that make his 60 pound + beach cruiser bike look like a reindeer. I've ridden with him and he easily leaves me in the dust. I wish I could join him more, the rate I'm going I'll be lucky to retire at 67

I saw a beach bum looking dude on the bike path one day going the other way - he was sitting on his top tube and moving his bike fred flintstone style. Yelled at me as I was going by that I was pedaling too fast. Go figure.
There's a VERY old gentleman in my neighborhood... somewhere... I see him riding every day when I'm dropping the kids off at school. He's got an older steel bike with front and rear racks (always empty), wears a bright yellow jacket and climbs some pretty steep roads going just about fast enough to stay upright and not more than that. In the drops.
So yeah, I want to be that guy when I'm 85, or whatever he is.

The weird part is that the photo was taken somewhere above 12,000' on Mt Evans.

I saw a guy riding a recumbent. He didn't have a beard OR a beret. I was so shaken I wasn't sure if I'd be able to make it home.
