I just picked up a bike at a estate sale,it seems to be in relatively good condition.But it has been repainted and there are no decals or markings of any kind on the frame.Can any one help me to identify this bike.All of the accessories seem to be original.The S/N is DB3615,all of the accessories are shown on the pics. That's gonna be a tough one. Late '90s thru current aluminium frame/steel fork touring kinda thing.

My first guess would be a big bike shop brand - Performance, Supergo, or the like.

DB could indicate Diamondback.

From the odd parts mix I'd guess it was bought as a bare frame and built up with parts on hand.

My guess is that it's Nashbar's Touring frame in original paint with new decals. The touring forum might be able to confirm.

Tourney RD, Deore brakes, old 105 levers, 27" wheels, suntour shifters. The brakes and RD are likely replacement parts. My best guess is that it was an old road bike which was upgraded for touring use. Probably a fairly generic steel frame.

Edit: Or maybe aluminum. Try a magnet test. If its an Al frame, I'd bet its a Nashbar which was built with whatever was lying around.

I'll bet the original owner was digging around his parts bin and suddenly realized he had everything but the frame for a new bike and bought the Nashbar on sale to complete it.

It is a parts bin special... the derailleur, shifters, crank, and wheels probably came out of someone's parts bin but all the buts are decent enough.

Did you put the CCV decal on the downtube?
