Coolest looking bike helmets?!

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Man you guys have been helpful. The poc octal looks cool and same with torch no matter how star warsie. The Vasco looks cool too but trying to make integrated lens look badass is like trying to compare bingo with my grandma to the quest for the one ring. Keep em coming boys n girls

I used to think the Air Attacks to be ugly but I'm kinda wishing my team will have it as our official team helmet next season.

The Casco helmet is a nice alternative but the price is absolutely ridic.

Kinda funny how tastes change. When the POC first came out I thought it was hopelessly dorky looking, but there was a guy wearing one yesterday on the group ride and I thought it looked pretty sharp. I guess I've gotten used to the way it looks to the point of liking it.

I haven't seen an Octal on the streets yet, and it's more in the Interesting camp than Cool camp for me.

I think to be cool, something has to have a danger or wickedness component, something that elicits a bit of fear or trepidation. Hard to define coolness, unlike, apparently, the ease with which BF mods define pornography (referring to the Lazer helmet ad image that got pulled and I got an infraction point for). It's a good thing Calvin Klein doesn't make cycling apparel.

And that's exactly the fear I'm talking about-- like, "Oh my god, is that his bulging penis, or just the shaping of the underpants?"-- that made the CK ads cool. And no, I'm not suggesting you model your helmet in your undies, so don't even think about it!

I thought someone had modified some kind of helmet to give it the Storm Trooper effect as it had a home made look to it.

What is it with urban helmets that they never have proper venting?

Besides offering outstanding aero benefit in case you miss the draft off Bus #9 , they're also warmer in the cold, drier in the rain, protect against falling pigeon and gull droppings, easily accommodate punk band and political stickers, and look more menacing when swung while defending against street gang attacks. But perhaps most importantly of all, you can throw your apartment keys in them without them while the helmet dangles from the bars as you're carrying the bike upstairs without having the keys fall through the vents.

And more even-looking helmet hair.
