Clearly an example of "no good deed goes unpunished". :(

Woe is the unappreciated community servant. :(

I have this going for me.

Mexican woman becomes world?s 'oldest person' at 127 - Americas - World - The Independent

A Mexican woman has become the world’s oldest person as she is celebrating her 127 birthday today, her friends and relatives say. She attributes her long life to eating chocolate, sleeping for days on end and never getting married, her family have said.
Enjoy your premature deaths.

So let me see if I got this right . . . She takes lots of magnesium, gets plenty of rest, and no stress.

Yep, that sounds about right.

Oh man...agreed... I just got into an argument because apparently the bite-sized donuts aren't bite-sized. GAH!

The bike is out of commission as well...something went "kerchunk!" with the front brake as I rolled down the last block home from yesterday's century.

Kinda sounded like the Millennium Falcon not making the jump to lightspeed with the disc rubbing...

48 Miles with the club. Very relaxed pace. Perfect for the holiday.

The police will stitch that up in no time.

Look at this. Does this look like "no hills" to you?! AND the banana bread place was closed.

Seriously though, it was a nice ride. We stopped at a different coffee place. And I actually added the last hill on my own. I ran into Mr. Hillclimber and his wife Mrs. Don't-Take-Me-Up-Another-Hill, plus our mutual friend Climbing Ninja. CN wasn't satisfied with climbing rides so she took up trail running and promptly broke her tibia. Today was her second ride back, it was good to see them all. So I rode with them a little bit & then the most reasonable way home was up & over that last hill. At that point, I figured what would be the harm in one more wee hill? :)

I don't eat donuts, or donut holes, but I suppose they are edible.

My comment was more towards the skid marks in the picture, and the thought that he was doing donuts, which then caused the little swerve he was involved in.

gc3 09-01-14 12:27 PM

Pretty sure I said "mountain" not "hill" but hey whut do I no...

The real caption for that picture: Parking lot donuts in an SUV don't end well.
