A1A, Ocean Drive, the long flat road with bike lanes that runs along the barrier islands in Sourth Florida has spoiled me. I take my bike by Tri Rail into Miami. I commuted to school on a bike, in college in Manhattan, from Greenwich Village to Union Sq. Later, working nights in the Pocono Mts., I commuted through town and out deserted country roads. Now I'm looking at a job transfer to Wiscasset, ME and I don't remember seeing much in the way of cycling when I vacationed there with my kids. Just wondering if much has changed or improved?
