Wife wants to stalk me while out riding.

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Wife wants to stalk me while out riding.

My wife wants me to get an app for my phone that will tell her where I am when out biking. We both are using Iphone 5s phones. I also use a garmin 500, garmin connect, strava, but I don't think that won't help. She keeps bugging me to find out if I can do this so to begin my search; I ask all of you if you have any ideas how to do this.

Does anybody know of any iphone app that will do this? Thanks.

There are lots of ways to do it. You just track a specific device. The problem is leaving your phone somewhere that looks like work before visiting your girlfriend

I put Glympse on my Android phone but my wife ignored it when I used it. Almost disappointing, that, but I guess that our rides just aren't that interesting to someone looking at a dot on a map.

It has a version for IOS also. It's easy to use, one or two taps with a saved profile and it sends an email or text (whichever you selected with the profile) containing a url to an online tracking map.

Just for fun, do what they always do on TV shows. Once the app is running, put the phone in another vehicle going the other way. Like maybe a truck going on a long trip.

I use Glympse app also for may things even meeting up with friends great app. I've used it on some long Century rides so family can see were I am, using an added external battery source helps also. It can be watched on phone or computer also.

That's what I thought too, but it doesn't come up as a feature when I click the "Go Premium!" link now. I thought about doing that when I was in France the other week so my wife could see what I'm up to. Then I remembered she'd be in bed asleep while I was riding, so no point.

She watches so she knows when to tell the pool guy to get out.
