EASTON EC90 Fork

Just replaced the stock fork on my 04 litespeed tuscany with an 05 Easton EC 90 SL (the 340 gm version) It is a lot stiffer, but it seems to absorb shock better than the stock one did. Bike feels much more planted and stable, yet it will still carve!..Definately feel the difference climbing out of the saddle!!!! Much better. Weight wise, here is an interesting comparision:
Litespeed 608 grams (cut to fit)-includes expander bolt.
Easton EC90 321 grams (cut to fit)-includes expander/lockring

I've had the EC90 SL for about 500 miles now. I like it as well. I've been riding for almost 6 years now and this is the first time I've ever "really" been able to feel the difference in the ride of a fork. I too swtiched from a Litespeed Litetec fork. Litespeed forks BLOW!

The EC90 fork is ridiculously light. The first time I held one, I could not get over it.
But carbon scares me, I was stupid enough to bust my carbon seatpost. Back to the thompson elite.

I had received a free fork from Litespeed as a promo when I purchased a Classic frame in 2000. I recently discovered some cracks at the fork crown that had me concerned. To be on the safe side, I just had an Easton EC 90 SL straight blade fork installed today. I haven't had a chance to ride it seriously yet, but I'm looking forward to tomorrow!

are these the same as the profile design forks? I was spec'ing a litespeed teramo before I got the deal on my lemond. researching the fork (profile design) I heard nothing but really bad stuff (folks on litespeed's owners' forum mention the "wobble of death").
