Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hey Patriot, I'm interested, but are you going to discount it at all for the shoddy paint job.

I guess that is enough of a discount, I'll probably just end up duck taping it anyway. Oh, by the way, mind if you pay shipping..and can you foot the duck tape too. It would seem to be only fair since I am taking this off your hands only as a friend.

I'll give you $1,500 to keep it!

How's that for a response?

Actually, I think it's super cool looking and if I lived closer would have you shoot my fixed gear.

You know we do have hardware stores here. Sometimes we even ride our kangaroos down there and check things out. Even the Duck brand duct tape. But I don't buy inferior products like that. I leave it to gather dust on the shelf like everyone else does. Besides, I have no need to tape up any ducks ATM. Or guinea pigs.

You didn't have to go into this big blab about nothing. All you had to do was remove your foot from your mouth.

The TYPE of tape is 'Duct Tape', a particular BRAND available IN THE US is called 'Duck Tape.'

Now excuse me, I have more IEing to do before I have my BigMac break. After which I have to Hoover and then Zerox.

****ing consumer *****s.
