I've sorta wanted a tattoo off and on for some time. I haven't found a design I really want though. I have one design that I think about from time to time, but I'm just not sure I'd like it in the future. It is a mash-up I did (although, I have a second one a friend/teammate graphic artist drew up for me) of all my past running teams (and current). I thought about getting it to pay respect to my last 9 years. I might get it when I finish college running, I might not. Actually, I probably won't. Unless my friend can get me into the local shop for dang near free.
I wouldn't mind a cycling one, but I just can't find one I like. No Cat 5 marks, chainrings, shifters, clip-art bikes. I sorta like the pistons on the back of the legs, but that's to much for me to do personally.
Sweet tattoo though. It looks like it was well done!

At age 67 I got this....Ouroborous, the perpetual cyclic renewal of life and infinity, the concept of eternity and the eternal return, and represents the cycle of life, death and rebirth, leading to immortality, Mine is the serpent swallowing it's tail.

Ya know, I never liked tattoos...and this thread is not changing my mind.
Glad you're happy with it...the world would be a boring place if we were all the same...I just don't get the allure of them, that's all.

If I was going to get one I would pick something like my avatar.
I don't have any tatts though....just not all that high on my personal priority list or things to spend money on.

Looks good. Just remember that both sides of your bike has chainrings now, so crashing is definitely out.

btw, i think the tat looks cool RIRview. not really a cat5 tat since it's a full chainring, not on the inside, and looks too pretty.

She may be dead. But barring some extremely (read medical mystery that is studied in textbooks) rare condition, it was not as a result of the tattoo. Families try to find reasons for stuff, posters sometimes make up facts on the interwebz. Either way, not really buying it. But I am a moron, ya got me there.
