Topeak Hexus II question

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Topeak Hexus II question

I just got a topeak Hexus II multi tool.

One thing puzzles me, On one of the tire levers there is a feature that is not explained in the instructions.

It is at the left side of the lower tire lever. The little clip like feature....

Sorry if this is a silly question :-)

According to which "clip like" feature. The big one on the end is for hanging on a spoke to hold the tire from popping back on.

The clip that sits up is for holding the tyre lever in place after lifting the bead initially over the rim, but hooking the clip under the spoke.

However, the other notches are for adjusting spoke nipples.

I like the Hexus II, and have had four or five of the in the household. However, the nipple wrenches aren't particularly strong if the nipples are tight already.

Yes I did catch that the metal lined notches were spoke wrenches ;-).

Seems like a neat tool really :-).
