Bono's bike accident

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Article is misleading. It is incredibly unlikely that he broke it while riding. More likely it occurred when he stopped riding.

Is the 41 investigative team going to deconstruct another Central Park cycling accident?

Actually Bono hit a tree skiing which cost him his life a few years back. Cher was inconsolable.

No it wasn't funny. I told Sonny to lay off the mushrooms when skiing and he obviously didn't follow my advice.
Chastity/Chaz was rather bewildered by it.

I know. But I don't see change happening until some awful things happen. Public isn't outraged when the regular folks are killed. But what if it was Mitt Romney? The Mormon Church and RNC might be outraged. What if Clint Eastwood? Maybe NRA will be outraged.

Nothing like tragedy to bring people together. Maybe drivers will stop hating cyclists if even influential people get angry, cause they're dying.

Hmmm. Seems like an extreme position.
What I really rather have a solution to is how to off the mf'ers that are cutting our heads off.

U2?s Bono pulls out of shows, faces surgery after cycling accident - Sticky Bottle

I can only imagine what would be done to him on HrN. He probably isn't cross-chaining, but I think that may be the only rule unbroken in this picture.
