Cassette Conundrum

I'm upgrading my Cannondale CAAD5 from a 9 to a 10 speed setup. I have all the parts needed other than the cassette. I'm going to pick up a Ultegra 6700. I went on Nashbar and there is a listing for the 6700 and a CS-6700. What is the difference and what one should I go with?

Shimano Ultegra CS-6700 10-Speed Cassette

Same cassette. Both are CS-6700, zoom into the picture and you can see the model number on both.

The CS stands for cassette. Shimano's uses that system for all of their groups. For example, FD-6800 would be a current model Ultergra front derailleur, ST-9000 would be a mechanical Dura Ace shifter, RD-5800 would be a 105 rear derailleur, etc...

You'll see that from time to time on parts websites. It most likely got purchased at 2 different times and prices and they haven't removed the other one from the system. Buy the cheapest of the 2.

Good to know. Thanks for the heads up. Order is placed

This - at $17.95 - works just as well IME, despite Shimano marketing:

Shimano 10 Speed Tiagra 4600 Cassette, Cassettes, CASSETTES

Do you personally know their usual shipping times for where you are? Also do you get dinged with duties? Just curious. Where are you?

DC area.

Normally about a week, and I haven't gotten dinged with duties on any Ribble order - yet. Got hit once on an order from another European shop about three or four years ago, but I don't even recall which one it was - and it was a set of wheels, so it was kinda obvious. I do know it wasn't Ribble, PBK, Merlin, or Total Cycling.
