My favorite thing is to watch a bunch of CO2 carriers-- Ha! That's what I'll call those people, "carriers," like they've got a disease!-- get a request for help from a fellow cyclist down on their luck with a flat: "Uh, sorry man, I don't have a pump." Scared-a** bastards! You know damn well you can help the bro out, you just don't want to give out your "precious" resource.
Me: "I got you man. You can use my bad-a**ed Lezyne carbon fiber pump!" "Trick? What, you like the pressure gauge hose, don't you?!" Carriers. Hahahaha! |

What is the most flats you have every had on a ride? Well, just carry enough CO2 for that many flats. During the 7 years that I have been using CO2, I never ran out. Four CO2s and an Air Chuck still weights less and take up less space than my old mini pump.

OOh, I really like that. You could just keep a cheap one on you and throw it at the guy as you fly by.

I rode with the race rocket hp in my jersey pocket for the first time, I found the silicone handle grip really helps keep the pump firmly in the pocket. Nice little advantage that I never thought about.
