Pics and opinions on colored tires?
I am thinking of adding some new tires, namely the Michelin Pro4 Endurance. They offer these with a blue sidewall, and I'm debating going with these to match the blue accents of my 2013 Fuji Sportif 1.3c.
I would appreciate any feedback or opinions, and pics of your bike with color matched tires would be even better!

I go in for flash/style/bling/whatevayacallit, but colored tires are usually just too much...and often look dated to me. I run all-blacks.

My son has 23's with red sidewalls. He's about 165. Likes the feel and performance. I just ordered black sidewall 25's for under $30 @ ProBike.

And on top of that, one has to add layers of casing width and cost in order to understand colored tires?
My mind is blown!

I'm clearly out of my league in this discussion, because I've never even considered the connection between rider weight and sidewall color. I can't even get my mind around it now that I have.

If you really need a deeper explanation so you can sleep tonight, this is the 41. I'm bragging because I just purchased tires cheap. It's my civil duty to provide more information than the OP asked for, relevant or not.
You ok now?

We all know red is faster, everyone who cares about color is young and weighs 165 or less, and this is the 41.

I just checked out Probike....good deals on all the tires there.
And for the record, Im way past young, and just broke 200 on my way down from 217. When I get to 180, I'll order 23's and paint my bike red!!

It's good until you get a sidewall cut, trashing one of the tires, & a matching one is not available.
Then you have that awkward, mismatched look & you're not sure if it's kind of cool, or hideous.

Super-flashy bikes aside, rather than matching frame paint, I think this is a more interesting application of colored sidewall tires - add color to an otherwise black/white/gray bike.
I've got something similar - Pro4 tires in yellow on the bike that's matte, all 'natural' cf (dark gray) with medium gray branding and accents. There's a yellow Mavic label on the bottom of the pedals, but that's it for color. (Fancy wheels have similar yellow Mavic label, but black tires)
By the way, OP, is your bike mostly white, or mostly black? It might make a difference. Also, it should be easy enough to photoshop....

Yeah.... Some blue Miche's came with my Klein. Nice color, but it really wasn't bright enough to stand-out much or even be noticeable- and even less so as the tires aged. That being said though, I'm thinking of getting a set of gray ("silver") GP4000's for my red(with white accents) Venge. (I really wish they'd make all-gray (light shade) tires for bicycles. They seem to have them for wheelchairs (Darn cripples get all the good stuff!

Red Pro4's on a flat black bike with red/black seat. I once had a kid at a race tell me he liked my tires. Other than that, they roll just like the black ones
