Haha, thanks for all the replies. I actually think I'll try and leave it on. Knowing my luck my RD will somehow get fubared and it may help.

I was going to actually also ask about the reflectors in the wheel spokes. I didn't know those weren't cool- one of my bike cop buddies gave me a ribbing about that. I'll probably keep them too... :thumb:
