what kind of pet do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have a giant orange tabby Tom. He's 17 lbs. and about 2' long not including his tale. The vet practice that cured him when he was rescued nicknamed him Meathead because of his giant head. He's got a bent ear from sort of trauma and he's FIV+. He's the sweetest boy in the world and is happy to have a loving home. I will try to add a photo later.

My pit bull Zeus. He is a rescued dog (abused and neglected by former owner) that we adopted and nursed back to health.

And yes, that was her dinner. This was taken the night before she had a couple teeth pulled. I figured she'd appreciate it if their last task was worthy of remembrance.

A Shoal of Red Bellies. The largest is just over 14" in length and is named Brutas. She has a temper and a serious appetite. Lets just say I started out with more than 8....

The crew

Here is a pic of Brutas.

You're a hero to Zeus taking him from a bad situation and giving him a loving home. Well done!

My wife and I each adopted rescue cats when we were separated (Mr. Simon and Carmen Miranda) and ever since we got back together it's been challenging to get them to live in peaceful harmony.
