This bike needs to be rescued. "Athlete" Hub Cycle Co. Boston. This is an old heavy coaster brake, chain tyre Bike. It has been sitting behind my shed for several years. Does anyone want it? it's free. Plympton, Mass.

Here's an oddball... I got a box of Arbar-branded bike parts. From what I can tell, Arbar was a now-defunct Colombian bike manufacturer. What we have here appears to be a rod brake setup. I didn't want to remove it from its bag for fear of losing something important, but if you're interested and want to "inspect" it more closely, let me know. Free for postage.

Thought I would ask here . DoesAnyone know why I would be unable to post a new thread in the forsale section? I can't find any certain standards you have to meet to post but It seems to just not let me post here.

Thanks again, Ben

Arbar Colombian rod brake setup, NOS, free for postage. Hopefully someone with rod brake interests will find something useful in this collection. (I know nothing about rod brakes, and have no idea if anything here will interoperate with other rod brake systems, or if this setup is even complete. Removed from the bag for photos.) Brake levers included.

Flickr is being uncooperative today. I've been so far unable to create an album with the relevant photos (only one is added). If you're interested, browse recent photos in my photostream:

Weinmann Type 500 side pull brakes

I have a pair of Weinmann 500 side pulls that I will not be able to use. I do not have the half-round washers, cable adjusters, or the QR levers for them. They are quite functional, so with a little polishing they will be fine brakes. Yours for the cost of postage. See photo.

Easton EA70 wheels, bars, helmet.

The wheels are about 10 years old and apparently they were part of a batch of EA70s that were built with some sub-standard spokes. I've popped about four spokes on the rear wheel, the last time two spokes went at the same time. You could replace the two broken spokes and they'd probably be fine (especially if you weight less than I do - 210#), or you could re-spoke them.
Three bars - a 44 cm 3T Rotundo with a stem (120mm, I think), a 42 mm Modolo and a 44 cm Deda Newton. They've got some old bar tape glue on them but they're in pretty good shape otherwise. All aluminum. Oh, and a pair of those trekking butterfly bars, too.
Large Bell helmet, worn on one ride, turns out my head and the helmet aren't the same shape.
I'm in the Salt Lake City area. Send a text to 8 oh one 5 seven 3 zero zero 44.

cateye computer and accessories
i dont see a 2019..... but here it goes.
I have a bunch of cateye strada stuff - ok, not sure, if they are all functional, or if they are all strada. But, the pics show what i have. I have switched to Garmin 520 and will not be going back to these.
Anyone want these? pay postage from 94588 and it is yours.

I didn't see a 2019 version either!
Garmin Edge 500, mounts, and three speed/cadence sensors.
But before you get all excited, it's old and temperamental. Very fussy about what USB cable it will talk to and occasionally doesn't save a ride.
Will split off the sensors as no one needs more than one really.
Location UK. You pay for postage.

Love this thread!
So glad to see this thread here. I'm new to the forum and really appreciate that someone is taking the time to set this up! I've been on the receiving end of a lot of generosity over the years. Glad to find this opportunity to pay it forward.
