Question regarding the condition of the rack; the last photo shows the Padded cradle and quick-release straps protect bottom-mounted cables missing. are they not included? Can the rack be shipped?

Hello Backpedalling. Yes, the rack can be shipped as I've looked into it and have boxes where I can custom make the box/packaging without too much trouble.

Yes, the back cradle is missing the padded insert as well as one of the two strap/tie-ons. I have talked to my LBS and they have agreed to sell me a replacement cradle which includes the entire cradle system (cradle, padded insert, and two straps/tie-ons) at cost for $45. Thus, I am willing to split that cost once I have a commitment by increasing the $175 price by $22 to $197 plus actual shipping costs. This way, you are truly getting a $400 rack mount for 50% off the new price.

You can see a close-up photo of the cradle here: https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories.../Y8820153.html

Just let me know.

Thx much

Woodcycl: Though I've been a member for a long time, I've mostly lurked, so have posted only a handful of messages, thus I'm barred from PM (so far). Let's continue the conversation when you return. I have a Sun EZ Tandem AX, and the Sidewinder is my choice for transporting it.

woodcycl: I've used a buddy's Sidewinder with the Tandem AX, so I know it will work.

woodcycl: The trick with the Tandem AX (9.5' long) is to load it with rear tire facing forward over the windshield, so that the rear hatch can still be opened fully.
