Murray Serotta Road Bike

This is a circa 1980s "Murray" Serotta Road Bike. This is an American Flyers (starring Kevin Costner) movie bike which was then used 1 season by the 7-11 Professional cycling team. It was then sold to a Jr team where it was used by 1 racer until 1991/92 and since then it has been in storage.

Murray sponsored the team, but these were made by Serotta. It has Wolber wheels with glue-on tires. There are 3 additional wheels that come with the bike.

Seat tube = 59cm

Top tube = 56/57cm

Stand over height = 82cm

Asking price $2500 (accepting offers)

Wonderful bike. You should also list it here: Classic and Vintage Sales - Bike Forums
When I ride my bike I feel free and happy and strong. I'm liberated from the usual nonsense of day to day life. Solid, dependable, silent, my bike is my horse, my fighter jet, my island, my friend. Together we will conquer that hill and thereafter the world.

Where on the bike is the part with the 4 card suits? That was a DeRosa thing I thought.
