High End AX Lightness SRT 42 960gr Wheelset


Ridden only twice for 150km total. The 960gr total wheels are like new.
This is the ultimate lightes wheelset on earth.

I bought a pair of ENVE's SES 3.4 and overequipped.

AX Lightness is a german Lightweight Carbon parts manufacturer for Formula 1 Race car parts.

The SRT 42 is their top rim model. An assembled wheelset starts from 2500 Euros naked.

The carbon layering is extremely clean and precise.
Spokes are stainless steel Aero shaped 4,5gr each.

The Hubs are from Lightweight Italian Manufacturer EXTRALITE.
Extralight holds various world records in lightest cycling components.

Spoke heads are lowered into the flange and Bearings run extremely Precise.
You can easily set bearing play with the apposite adjusting ring on each hub.

The overall look of this wheels is a very clean.
The spokes just like the carbon rim, have a redish shiny reflection when moved in the sunlight.
Spoke nipples are hidden.

VELOFLEX Extreme 220gr Tubulars for a 100 Euros each are mounted.

Freehub is for Shimano cassettes 9/10/11 speed.

SRAM RED cassette on the photos is not included.

Riders Weight Limit is 100kg.

Very nice. Not quite sure if I want a set of tubular wheels though.. so I'll have to pass. GLWS!
