FS: Bamboo Cargo Trailer - haul your fridge!

Adam George in Portland, Oregon makes incredible bamboo trailers, 3 by 6 feet, and 500 lb capacity. I used my landlords's bamboo cargo trailer several times in Portland the year I lived there. When I moved to Vashon Island, Washington I ordered one of my own. It was made in 2014, and used it a few times. Then I moved to a different spot on the island, not so conducive for the big trailer on the 50 mph roadway. So, with great reluctance, I am going to sell the bamboo trailer. Adam charges $750 for a new trailer like mine. But mine is used, so I am asking $475 for it. Buyer will need to come to beautiful Vashon Island to pick it up. Here is Adam's website and info on the trailers he makes: https://boundbikes.wordpress.com/bamboo-trailers/

I purchased the extra tie downs and the safety triangle. Also, my trailer is already set up for 3 cyclists to pull the trailer together. Great for really big loads or going up hills with a big load.

The trailer is created from a variety of bamboo, joints are made from plant based, epoxy (ecopoxy) and salvaged jute burlap fibers, finished with shellac.

Has it ever been resealed and/or how often does one need to reseal it? I’m over in Seattle. I’d pop by to see it…although getting to Vashon is still a bit of a haul.

edit: oh…haha this post is like 4 years old. Still have the trailer?

Yes, Tegnamo, I still have it, and it is still for sale. It is safe and dry inside, waiting for just the right person. It has never been resealed.
