Drool. I raced those (except with the short cage; loved that it was so easy to swap between long and short cages) on my '76 Fuji Pro. For the old clunky, wide 5-speeds of the day, the shifting was the best. (Well next year's Superbe was a small step better. It was on our showroom floor when I bought last year's Pro. But head and shoulders above anything else out there.) Power shifters - as good as that Cyclone rear if nowhere near as sexy. My Pro used those cable guides. Never thought about them in 9000 miles; they just did the job nicely.

I'll pass and let someone else grab those shifters. I have them on all my geared bikes already and they will probably outlive me. The less beautiful (and heavier) later SunTour touring derailleurs shift better than the Cyclones on all but an old school racing double. (Now, for that racing double, the superlight Cyclones, front and rear, worked very, very well and if I were going there again ... But my aging body and knees say otherwise,)
