I am interested in this thread as I just received my Surly DT. nice tires stock but will upgrade for puncture resistance when these wear down.

I currently commute on a trek 7.5fx or my fixie. I think if I had to start over a cx or long haul trucker. there is something about a steel frame, and a brooks saddle that seems so right.
