Nice bike! I quit smoking right before I picked up cycling (about 14 months ago) and what helped me most was thinking of how much bigger hills seem after smoking...

yeah, personally I just keep the cadence in the 80-95 range and spin through it sitting down, unless I need a little extra power or need to stretch.

Well, a lot of people DO park right at the base of the mountain, but personally I like my heart rate to be up before hitting the incline...So I'd start at one of the parking lots at the intersection...

Yeah, Actually I picked up "desert Journeys" yesterday and saw the kitt peak ride in there. Hopefully in the next few weeks I'll be able to get over there. Thanks for the tip Zona.

Rode out to colossal cave and back from Harrison...

Rode out to colossal cave and back from Harrison and speedway here in Tucson. Great ride, about 35 Miles round trip, 80 degrees and sunny.
