Have you ever watched golf in HD? They are using the setup the TDF would need. They just mount everything on a golf cart instead of a motorcycle....

I would at least find and tell a cop before hand... even if he can't help, it's easier to explain why you are cutting through a lock before you begin and get "caught".

You can also pick up the Valley forge bike trail starting at the Art Museum... If you ride all the way to the park and back it's 42 miles. Mostly flat, easy trail.
