The only thing different here is goatheads. Maybe, maybe if you ride in the heat of the day during summer, your tires will not last as long, hard to believe though and I have not had that experience.

I just had a similar problem resolved (my thread is on the front page now) by contacting Garmin via their chat. I had to reformat my 510 via a PC. You might look into that. It took about 15 minutes.

Next time, leave the wheels out in the sun or gently use a heat gun to loosen the glue bond before removal. Helps a tiny bit.
