Okay, i guess he must've meant similar. It was just some brand that i'd never heard of that was made in the US.
I guess i'll just have to take a look at em and hope they're worth it.

Is there a difference? My lbs didn't have 09 so they ordered me the older non-black one. Were there any improvements to the 09's?

hopefully my lbs has an older easton wheel that they can swap hubs with.

i just recently got my set of easton wheels in and the ultegra 9speed(6500 or 5600-not sure) won't fit on it. i know the wheel is made for shimano, but it seems like the splines on the hub are too...

i just figured it was good because they seem to go for 950 online. and the fact that i don't need to ship them is a big plus. i think the eastons are on sale at nashbar for 599 with 15%...

I just got an opportunity to buy the 2008 ksyrium sl wheels for about 700 out the door at a friends shop, is this a good deal. i know they usually run 950 new. is this a good deal or should the 08's...

it means that there will generally be less teeth...

it means that there will generally be less teeth than a regular crank. hence the compact name. it makes it easier to pedal and helps in climbing

I just recently purchased a cannondale caad9 bike and i think i niidlower gearing. I live in an area with a lot of hills and the 2 don't seem to cut it for me, even on the lowest gear i can't climb...
