Thanks for the info. I guess I have been cross training for almost all 1000 miles. I live in south Florida and it is flat here so I constantly ride in the big ring and one of the four largest cogs.

I have it in the big ring and in the biggest cog. It seems to go through the rear derailleur smoothly, but when I rotate the pedals backwards it immediately falls off the big ring.
