I think I may go with a 17t cog and see how that goes.

I live in a relatively flat area and I dont want to sacrifice too much top end speed so it seems like that would be a better choice.

To add to my post would dropping to 76-77 GI be a better choice? I can accomplish that by either adding a tooth in the rear for 76.2 or another tooth drop in the front for 77.6

Ive got a Kilo TT Pro running stock 48/16 gearing which comes out to 81.0 gear inches and only 1 skid patch :( I feel like I could use a little bit more spinning when Im going at a decent clip...

Would you recommend a 53cm for me? I am 5'11" - 6' with a 31" Inseam without squashing my nether regions. :p
