The shop said that the hub has internal damage. There is some sort of grind when the wheel rotates. Any idea how much it would cost to rebuild this thing with bearings, cassette bushings, pawls etc?...

The cassette is not installed and the thin spacer is in place. The movement is in the cassette body and worsens when the cassette is installed. I guess that I'll just take it in to see what the shop...

Thanks for the advice. I have access to several calibrated calipers at work. I will give a measurement and compare to what you guys have suggested. It's likely time for a new chain and cassette.
