thanks for your reply T-Mar, this is getting very interesting, so if it is a Mikki or Merida, is it still going to be chromoly or did they use other tubing?

can anyone help identify this frame?

I think by what ive seen that its a 83-84 cro-moly out of the Miyata stable, not sure whether it was a univega or something else, i picked it up from an auction site all covered in rust, cleaned up...
