In fact took it down almost as inch as it was too tall & legs was overextended at bottom so now its about seat 32 in off ground & still a bit hi but I can get a toe on the ground to stop.

Thinking I'm no bike expert but why would I be able to see so much grease. It was a large circular area on the inside crank...maybe some metal part was missing hence why the bikes ju st felt loose...
