I have a 4 month old Selle Italia Team Spec and it looks good as new (except for a few scuffs) all you have to do is wipe it down with a paper towel and water every once in a while.

I do have a pretty good sprint and I wouldn't want to ruin that but I would mostly use the tt bike for races only and ride it a couple times a few weeks before a big race.
