I run 52x18. SS road bike. I like it but might go to 52x19. I don't encounter too many hills but it can be very difficult if you dont pick up speed going into them. On the flats I can pretty much fly.

SS...I don't like riding fixed and really don't get the point of it outside of the track. Nothing is convenient or fun about it for me....
